STRIP DESCALING MACHINE

Mechanical pre-descaling and final chemical surface treatment of hot-rolled stainless steel strip (Cr-Ni, titanium strip) and Si-alloy strip are almost exclusively carried out in integrated processing lines that combine annealing, cooling and mechanical descaling SÛR'FIS KLENZ has designed and manufactured Strip Descaling Machines according to the customers specification based upon the line speed requirement and the processing line capability.

SÛR'FIS KLENZ makes Strip Descaling Machines which are suitable for continuous as well as conventional push-pull pickling lines. Strip Descaling Machines are available in diamond-shaped double compartment design which reduces unnecessary wear on wheel components. This design allows the wheel to be placed closer to the work surface while still covering the entire width of the strip. SÛR'FIS KLENZ has designed and supplied a especially designed Strip Descaling Machine with a smaller 15" wheel driven by just a 75 H.P motor. The unique wheel orientation has enabled the machine to shot blast narrow stainless strips effectively and efficiently covering the entire width of the strip with a lower motor H.P.
